Steeple

Steeple your local four-piece alternative/indie rock band based in Montreal, Inspired by bands like Boa, Floral, Radiohead and other  Math rock/shoe gaze/dream pop adjacent bands.

  formed in 2023. This esoteric group of individuals consists of Sydney Bishop on vocals, Mathias Javgureanu on guitar, Evan Hardy on drums, and Adam Maiorano on bass. All four members connected through their musical studies at Vanier College and began performing together in the winter of 2023. 

  In January 2025, Steeple released their debut EP, "Fishbowl Heaven," following its recording in August 2024 with producer and friend 8sumint. "Fishbowl Heaven" pulls you in with its poetic lyrics, ethereal vocals, and intricate Mathy guitar work. The EP demonstrates a range of sonic textures, from the melancholy, atmosphere on "Spoiled Milk" to the driving energy and complex drumming on "Leave No Trace."
